The selfless and generous spirit of giving, exemplified by these lifetime giving achievements, reflects the constant spirit of giving that characterizes the lives of Louis Gillet ($100,000 and above), Theresa Maxis ($40,000 - $99,999), Teresa of Avila ($25,000 - $39,999) and Alphonsus Ligouri ($10,000 - $24,999). We are pleased to be able to symbolize these societies with icons written by Nancy Lee Smith, IHM. Louis Gillet Society, Fr. Louis Florent Gillet, Redemptorist priest and co-founder of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. His passion for God and his desire to give himself fully to the liberating mission of Jesus is reflected in the impelling fire in his hands and inner spirit. The IHM Community is grateful to our living and deceased friends who have given $100,000 or more during their lifetime or through their estate gifts. They exemplify the spirit of Louis Gillet for whom no sacrifice was too great. They are recognized on a special display inside the Motherhouse.
Teresa of Avila Society, St. Teresa of Avila, mystic, reformer, doctor of the church, and patron saint of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
$10,000 - $24,999
Alphonsus Liguori Society, St. Alphonsus Liguori, founder of the Redemptorists, friend of the poor and abandoned, moral theologian and patron saint of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The flame of the Spirit hovering above his head symbolizes his sense of being annointed to bring glad tidings to the poor. The IHM Community is grateful to our living and deceased friends who have given $10,000 - $24,999 during their lifetime or through estate gifts. They exemplify the spirit of St. Alphonsus who believed that each of us is called in love to give ourselves freely and generously to God and others. These donors are recognized on a special display inside the Motherhouse. For information, e-mail or call the Development Office at 734-240-9860. |
