IHM Motherhouse Renovation |

|
Renovation of the 70-year-old IHM Motherhouse in Monroe was urgently needed to replace outdated and overburdened electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems. Designed to ensure the future of the IHM mission, this project enabled the community to provide for the needs of retired sisters while creating a model of sustainable living. The renovation was completed in 2003. The renovation of the Motherhouse, through the use of Earth-friendly and sustainable systems, has enabled the IHM community to foster a new sense of mission while responding to the needs of our elder and infirmed sisters. The achievement of these important goals will require great sacrifice on our part for the next several years as we struggle to meet debt payments. Your ongoing financial support reminds and reassures us that we are not alone in this challenge. Thank you for considering a gift towards the Motherhouse renovation.
