The Call

There is something about a call
That changes us,
Transforms us,
Won't let us go.
There is something wonderful about seeing others
Hear, choose, and be faithful to a call.
We are gifted and blessed to glimpse
What happens when one responds.
We see that doing the illogical can produce a miracle,
That little can become much,
That fidelity can overflow in goodness, kindness, service and love.
There is something about a call,
There is something about those who answer a call
That changes us,
Transforms us,
Fills our lives with hope.
There is something about a call
More than we will ever know...
More than we can ever speak...
May you enter into the holy mystery of your call.
May you dance within it,
And may we dance with you.
