Name: Maria Antonia Aranda Diaz, IHM Title: Parish Coordinator/Technical Assistant Ministry: Pastoral Ministries/Human Rights, Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Ministry Summary Since professing my first vows in February in Juarez, Chihuahua, I have been reorienting myself. Many changes have occurred in the city, among the communities where we work, and in the civil society. I am collaborating in St. Helen's Chapel with Maureen Kelly, IHM in the Confirmation Course for Youth, adult education courses, guitar classes, and other supportive activities. Also, I am helping to reorganize the Community Center for Women and Life in cooperation with a Dolorosa Sister who works in the Parish of Jesus the Worker to which our chapel belongs. Recently I joined the team of Paso del Norte Human Rights Center giving technical support for their computer system and beginning to visit neighborhoods near the Center and preparing Promoters of Human Rights. I continue my study in English, now at the Juarez University. I hope to maintain a bridge of friendship and community with all those I've come to know and love in Monroe, Detroit and Puerto Rico.

Name: Katherine Collard, IHM Title: Rector, Howard Hall Ministry: University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind.
Ministry Summary
In August 2007 I began an exciting new ministry as the rector of Howard Hall at the University of Notre Dame. I find that I am constantly challenged and delighted as I strive to adapt to my role as mentor, advisor and spiritual leader to 160 young women. My duties are too numerous to list, but my most important task is building a solid Christian community that lives, works and prays together. I am working hard getting to know all of the ladies entrusted to my care. This process takes time and effort, especially when I am pulled in so many directions.
My relationship with God, in the person of Jesus Christ, is the center and foundation of my life. Daily prayer and reflection are an important part of my day. Notre Dame is for me a welcome oasis, where I have many opportunities to nourish my spiritual needs in community with the large population of priests and religious that staff this university. I am truly blessed to have been called to Notre Dame at this time.
In my free time I enjoy going to the movies and walking around the lakes with my dogs, Cocoa and Scout. During my vacation time I love road trips that lead to new places and experiences.
