St. Mary Organic Farm Community Garden
St. Mary Organic Farm is in the middle of a remarkable growing season. This report outlines only a small portion of the work we've accomplished in the last six months. St. Mary Organic Farm is a two-acre garden located in the heart of In 2009, during the hard economic times, St. Mary Organic Farm transitioned from a CSA to a community garden, enabling us to be more viable and inclusive while holding to our mission of caring for the land and building community. Spirituality, sustainability and education are key components at St. Mary Organic Farm. Every spring when planting is finished, hundreds of IHM Sisters, Associates, friends and neighbors gather with garden members to bless the land. We are grateful for the seasons of life, the harvest and for the community we share.
