529 Stewart Rd., Monroe, MI 48162
Holding pride of place at the north entry to the IHM Campus, Visitation greets each visitor with a deportment of quiet dignity and natural beauty.
Once a functioning barn for the IHM campus farmland, this majestic building was converted into a beautiful chapel and library at the time of Visitation's founding in 1970. Through the years it has served as a place of silence for individual prayer, reading and reflection, as well as a gathering place for communal worship, ritual and celebration.

This June, Visitation will finalize its service as a prayer center for more than 40 years.
All are invited to participate in the following events honoring Visitation in its closing:
May 15 - June 10 "Visitation: Telling the Story - A Visual Display" During these final weeks all are invited to spend time reviewing the events of Visitation s history and expressing your own rituals of leave-taking. The display will be available in the Barn Chapel, and also as a Power Point accessible here on the IHM website. During the weeks of the display, the Visitation Barn Chapel will be open to the public at the following times: Mondays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 2 - 4 p.m. Thursdays, 6 - 8 p.m. Sundays, 2 - 4 p.m. These public viewing hours will coincide with the weeks of the display.
