Team Fiddle to perform
at IHM Motherhouse

The IHM Sisters' Chapel Concert Series continues on Friday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m., when "Team Fiddle" performs.

Team Fiddle has been performing and delighting audiences for nine years. Founded by music director Robin Bloomberg, the group consists of 20 performers, ages 13-adult, on violin, cello, bass, mandolin, guitar and percussion. 

The IHM performance will include a variety of fiddle styles including Celtic, bluegrass, Old Time, and Klezmer. Song and some dance are also part of the family-friendly performance. Bloomberg holds a master's degree in music from Ohio State University. She is the former director of orchestras for the Mona Shores Public Schools in western Michigan and the past director of Capital University's Community Music School Chamber Orchestra and Ohio State University Pre-College Strings Program, She is also past-president of the Ohio String Teacher's Association. She is a cellist.

A free-will offering is requested. A portion of the proceeds will go toward earthquake relief in Haiti.

The IHM Motherhouse is located at 610 W. Elm Avenue, Monroe.
