IHM Sisters offer reflection day on "Gratitude"
Oct. 28, 2011

On Thursday, Nov. 17, Kathleen Budesky, IHM, MA, will facilitate a day of reflection with the theme, "Gratitude." The presentation will be held at the IHM Sisters' Motherhouse.

The coming Thanksgiving season is an apt time to relish the gifts God gives each day, to savor the sparks of light that illumine the darkness. Participants will reflect on how an attitude of gratitude enriches one's life and will consider ways of cultivating this virtue. Sessions will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Sister Budesky holds a master's degree in religious studies and spirituality. She has served in secondary schools, both in religious studies departments and administration, most recently at Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. She is presently director of Visitation North Spirituality Center in Bloomfield Hills.

Cost for the retreat is $30, which includes lunch. To register, contact Arlene Jekielek, IHM, at
734-240-9699 or ajekielek@ihmsisters.org by Nov. 4.
