IHM Sisters offer
Transformation and Autumn retreat
Sept. 5, 2008

Suzanne Schreiber, OP, will facilitate a retreat at the IHM Sisters' Motherhouse Sept. 24-26. The theme of the retreat is Transformation and Autumn.

"Throughout life, there are experiences of limitation and blindness," says Judith Bonini, IHM, pastoral services director for the IHM Sisters. "As we open to God's grace, these experiences often lead to a transformation and to healing."

Sister Schreiber has taught religious studies, art and photography. Because the visual arts, music and spirituality are central to her ministry, she blends them in ways that encourage retreat participants to deepen their faith and continue the spiritual journey.

The retreat begins at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, and ends on Friday, Sept. 26. Participants may choose to attend any or all of the days at a cost of $25 per day with lunch or $20 per day without lunch. Overnight accommodations are not available at the IHM Motherhouse. To register, contact Arlene Jekielek, IHM, at 734-240-9699 or ajekielek@ihmsisters.org by Sept. 19.
