"With Jesus, we share the joys and hopes, the griefs and anguish of all of our sisters and brothers in the human family."
- IHM Constitutions, Article 10
In This Week's Announcement: August 25 was the one-year anniversary of the death of Marie Sweeney, IHM. Marie was a tireless advocate for organ donation. In memory of Marie, the IHM Justice, Peace and Sustainability Office invites you to consider becoming an organ donor.
Click here to go to the Donate Life website where you will find information about registering to become a donor in your state. Signing your license is a great first step. However, you must register and get a sticker for your license in order to be officially added to the donor list. Click here to read a piece which Marie wrote about her experience as a lung transplant recipient and her work promoting organ donation.
